Responsibilities of the Finance Analyst

As a Finance Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial strategy of the organisation. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include working closely with commercial business functions, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and advising on best practices. You will also be responsible for developing strategic budgets and forecasts, analysing key drivers, and challenging senior stakeholders when necessary. This role requires a high level of commitment, excellent interpersonal skills, and a keen eye for detail.

  • Assisting with budget/reforecast preparation and performance tracking
  • Support with month end management accounts and reporting, in terms of variance analysis, insight and practical recommendations
  • Ensure delivery of key objectives as the finance lead on projects
  • Work closely with regional leadership teams focusing on value addition
  • Identify cost-cutting opportunities to enhance profitability
  • Advise the wider commercial finance function on best practices
  • Develop and manage strategic budgets and forecasts
  • Analyse drivers and challenge senior stakeholders when necessary
