Mackie Myers are delighted to be partnered with a global business in Kings Lynn with their search for a Finance Assistant. This is a permanent opportunity to join a well know brand who can offer longevity and career progression.
Duties for the Finance assistant will include but are not limited to.
- Raising & processing Invoices and setting up new supplier bank payments
- Balance sheet reconciliation
- First point of contact for the transactional finance team and supporting with queries
- Working closely with the wider finance team and any queries relating to the operational finance function
- Ensuring the team complete the weekly, monthly, and quarterly controls and verified
- Supporting with yearend processes by preparing and inputting journal
- Asset finance lead on adhoc projects including analysis and journals
Profile for the finance Assistant :
- Ideally this client is looking for someone who can start this role in November
- Studying toward or looking to start studying towards accountancy qualification
- Experience working within fast-paced finance department with ability to hit the ground running
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong IT skills particularly with Excel
- Ability to work as part of a team and work on own initiative
What's on offer for the Finance assistant :
Salary up to £40k (depending on experience) plus hybrid/ flexible working,
