Deluxe Materials Ltd is a busy and long-established business and brand supplying high quality products to the model hobby market nationally and internationally.
We are looking for someone who is comfortable working in a small company, who is adaptable and willing to learn the basics and build up to taking on the management of our supply chain.
An interest in model making, planes, cars, railway, diorama would be a benefit, but not essential.
There will be opportunity for the right candidate to progress within the team and take on more responsibility.
Skills required.

Ability to follow instructions, work quickly and accurately.
Record keeping.
Good communication by telephone, email and in person.
Basic computer skills - word, excel. A knowledge of Sage would be useful but not essential. More important is the willingness to learn.
Salary will depend on experience and skills offered.
Job Description
We are looking for a full-time supply chain operative to join our current team and who will progress into full management of the supply chain.
Duties will include:
- Initially, accurate picking and neat packing of orders with consideration to presentation to assist the Logistics Manager.
- Manufacturing: filling, labelling and boxing products.
- Assist the Logistics Manager in preparing orders for despatch.
- Managing stock (components and finished goods) in house and at remote locations in UK and overseas.
- Carrying out internal stock checks.
- Goods inwards, stock replenishing and rotation.
- General stores housekeeping to a high standard.
- Raising orders for components and ensuring their safe delivery.
- Communicate and meet with suppliers UK and worldwide.
You will need to be quick thinking with lots of initiative and common sense. A keen eye for detail and not being afraid of hard work are essential.

We are a small business but our customer base is worldwide. In the future there could be opportunities to attend hobby shows in the UK and abroad. Perhaps you are interested in product development, graphics.
