Day to Day of the Role:
- Delivering engaging English lessons to GCSE or A-Level students, following the UK curriculum.
- Preparing lesson plans, marking, and providing constructive feedback to students.
- Managing classroom behaviour effectively to create a positive learning environment.
- Assessing and recording students' progress and preparing them for examinations.
- Collaborating with colleagues to share best practices and participate in school events.
- Contributing to the development of curriculum and teaching materials.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
- Proven experience teaching the UK curriculum to GCSE or A-Level students.
- Availability to work a minimum of three days per week.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Positive observation ratings, ideally graded as ‘Good' or ‘Outstanding'.
- Willingness to undergo compliance checks, including Enhanced DBS and employment referencing.
