We are currently seeking a highly motivated Scrum Master to join a leading financial services firm in London. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in driving successful software development through Agile practices. You will be responsible for fostering a collaborative and efficient team environment, ensuring adherence to Agile principles, and empowering developers to deliver high-quality results.
Responsibilities:
- Facilitate and lead daily Scrum meetings, sprint planning sessions, and backlog refinement sessions.
- Champion Agile methodologies throughout the development lifecycle.
- Coach and mentor development teams on best practices for user stories, estimation, and task management.
- Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to ensure clear project vision and backlog prioritisation.
- Remove impediments that hinder team progress and ensure effective communication across all levels.
- Foster a continuous improvement culture within the Agile team.
- Track project progress and metrics, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Stay up-to-date on the latest Agile trends and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Project Manager, preferably within the financial services industry.
- In-depth knowledge of Agile methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban, and XP.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycles and best practices.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working in a cross-functional team environment.
- A passion for Agile and a desire to continuously improve processes.
