My client, a well-established and reputable organisation in the fire safety sector, is seeking a dedicated Fire Risk Assessor to join their expanding team. Ideally, candidates will have Tier 2 accreditation. You will be responsible for conducting fire risk assessments in line with current regulations and providing expert advice to ensure clients meet their legal obligations.
**Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct fire safety risk assessments in accordance with current fire safety regulations
- Provide clear, concise recommendations for remedial actions
- Produce comprehensive fire safety reports
- Liaise with clients and stakeholders to schedule assessments and discuss findings
- Offer fire safety advice and guidance to help clients comply with legal requirements
- Conduct fire safety training sessions for clients and their employees
- Stay up to date with changes in fire safety legislation and industry best practices
- Attend client meetings as required
**Key Requirements:
- Relevant degree or qualification in Fire Engineering or Fire Safety
- Proven experience conducting fire risk assessments
- Familiarity with fire safety assessment applications such as Riskbase
- Strong knowledge of current fire safety regulations and legislation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Proactive approach and commitment to achieving objectives
- Full driving license required (as the role involves travel to various locations)
