We are recruiting for a lovely company in Fox Milne who are looking for a highly experience Customer Service professional to join their small but busy team.
You will be delivering a complete, precise and prompt service for sales and inter-company order processing by managing the entire process from order placement to delivery.
Tasks to include:
- Working directly with customers to take their orders via EDI, Service Cloud, customer portals and DPortal.
- Reviewing content of customer orders, verifying quotation and order, identifying variances and taking corrective actions to meet customer requirements.
- Entering orders in the system ensuring pre-determined lead and delivery times are met and optimising costs.
- Confirming orders in SAP after completion of availability checks and order processing by plant order management teams and communicating details with customers.
- Monitoring customers accounts receivables on open orders to reduce credit and overdue blocks, prevent delivery delays and informing Inside Sales colleagues promptly to take necessary action.
- Liaising with plant logistics, hauliers and port authorities to confirm collection bookings, vessel loading and customer deliveries.
- Maintaining stock reports
- Reviewing customer forecasts and placing of inter-company orders for stock based on current orders, stock levels and future requirements.
- Co-coordinating and conducting annual stock inventory audits at third party warehouse providers.
The ideal candidate will be people minded and a team player and you will have several years experience in an office based Sales Administration role.
SAP would be desirable but not essential.
