Your new company
Due to continued expansion, this global manufacturing business is looking to appoint an experienced Production Manager to lead a high risk food manufacturing department working on a night shift pattern.
Your new role
You will be managing a team of 50+ staff including shift supervisors and team leaders. You will also have responsibility for an experienced hygiene team. You will ensure all products are manufactured according to customer specifications and of the highest quality, whilst maintaining an environment of continuous improvement, driving forward targets and performance levels.
As an experienced people leader, you will coach and mentor team members, identifying areas for development and ensuring training and personal development plans are regularly updated.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be a strong communicator with great coaching skills, with the ability to strengthen teams through positive reinforcement, people development and ensuring training programmes are regularly attended and updated via personal development plans.
You will ideally have experience gained in a high risk manufacturing role, and experience in managing large teams of people, have a good understanding of health & safety in the work place, quality standards and managing hygiene and clean downs.
You will hold a HACCP qualification and food hygiene certificate, and ideally hold level 4 ILM in people management.
