SEN Learning Support
Are you passionate about supporting young people with autism, learning disabilities, or special educational needs? Do you have experience in health and social care or a background in support work? Hours:
Monday to Friday, 8:45 am- 4:30 pm (Term Time Only)
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-to-one and group support to students with autism and learning disabilities in a college setting.
- Assist students in their academic and personal development.
- Support the teaching staff in managing the classroom and creating an inclusive learning environment.
- Help with everyday tasks and encourage independence in students.
Requirements:
- Understanding of autism and/or experience in health and social care or supporting individuals with learning disabilities.
- Patience, empathy, and strong communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other staff members.
- Transferable skills to adapt to a college learning environment.
