The company
There is an exciting opportunity for a Principal Electrical Engineer to join a friendly and growing Building Services, Environmental Design and Low Carbon Engineering practice based in the centre of the Bristol. The company are a dynamic practice at the forefront of low energy building design, working in a range of industry sectors and providing high quality, functional and comfortable building with little impact on the environment.
What should you expect?
- Engaging with clients from multiple projects at various stages.
- Supervise the production of drawings in 2D and 3D design using AutoCAD/Revit
- Engage with design teams and clients during the design phase of projects.
- Co-ordinating with multidisciplinary teams.
- Financial management of projects.
- Monitor progress and taking a leading role of contact between client and team.
- Structured progression up to associate level.
What are we looking for?
- Ideally you will be a chartered engineer.
- A minimum 8+ years' experience in designing electrical systems for buildings.
- Strong experience managing clients.
- Able to lead projects with a view to increasing management and leadership responsibilities.
- Skilled in software such as Amtech, Autocad, Revit, IES or Dialux
- Interest in responding to the climate emergency.
