Senior Lending Product Manager

This progressive and forward thinking financial services organisation has a brand new exciting opportunity for a Senior Lending Product Manager to join its high performing team.

You will be accountable for the delivery of the commercial lending targets and actively managing existing Lending customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the delivery of the commercial objectives for the organisation.
  • Responsible for the organisation's lending product strategy, including ownership of Asset Finance and Real Estate finance products.
  • Responsibility for market and competitor monitoring, product design, product pricing, product performance and product management, ensuring the delivery of good customer outcomes.
  • Joint ownership for the organisation's distribution strategy, including the management of the customer journeys, customer outcomes and wider stakeholder relationships.
  • Being an effective first line of defence, with an excellent handle on regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain a detailed understanding of lending customers and third parties, and the associated customer journeys.
  • Managing and developing direct report(s).
  • Maintaining a good working understanding of the regulatory environment and managing the impact of this on lending products and services.
  • Building and maintaining strong working relationships with the Heads of Asset Finance and Real Estate Finance and their teams.
  • Representing the organisation at key external events such as the NACFB Expo and award ceremonies.
  • Responsible for preparing and presenting papers at various governance forums.

Person Profile

  • Extensive experience of product management in either/or Asset Finance and Real Estate Finance.
  • Excellent market knowledge for either/or Asset Finance and Real Estate Finance.
  • Broad knowledge of product management principles with the ability to apply these flexibly to meet business needs.
  • An analytical, customer first approach.
  • Comprehensive understanding of Conduct Risk and Treating Customers Fairly requirements.
  • Excellent level of communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Negotiation and relationship management skills.
  • Budget management experience desirable.
  • PC skills including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
