A leading London-based law firm is seeking an experienced associate (3-5 years PQE) to join its Corporate team, with a focus on transactions in the healthcare sector. This role is perfect for a solicitor who has a strong foundation in corporate law, particularly in M&A and private equity, and is eager to work on high-profile deals within the healthcare industry.
About the Role:
As a key member of the team, the successful candidate will manage and support various healthcare sector transactions, including M&A, joint ventures, and private equity investments. Working closely with partners and senior lawyers, you will handle a range of tasks, including drafting and negotiating transaction documents, coordinating due diligence processes, and advising on sector-specific regulatory issues. This role offers excellent exposure to high-value transactions with leading healthcare providers and investors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead on drafting and negotiating complex transaction documents for M&A and private equity deals.
- Manage due diligence processes and provide strategic advice to healthcare clients on regulatory compliance and industry standards.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships by delivering practical, sector-specific advice aligned with client objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance and regulatory experts, to support comprehensive transaction delivery.
Requirements:
- Qualified solicitor with 3-5 years PQE in corporate law, with a track record in healthcare M&A and/or private equity.
- Strong analytical, drafting, and negotiation skills, with experience managing multiple aspects of complex transactions.
- Excellent client management abilities, with a collaborative approach to providing commercially-focused legal solutions.
- Familiarity with healthcare regulations and a genuine interest in the sector.
