Overview:
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Joiner to join our client's dynamic team. Key Responsibilities:
- Measure, cut, and assemble wood and other materials to create structural components, cabinetry, doors, and windows.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and plans to ensure precision and quality.
- Install joinery components on-site, ensuring high standards of finish.
- Collaborate with other trades and team members to meet project deadlines.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition and adhere to health and safety regulations on-site.
- Provide expert advice on materials and techniques when needed.
Key Skills:
- Proficiency in using a variety of woodworking tools, including hand tools, power tools, and machinery.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work within a team or independently.
- Problem-solving skills, with the ability to make adjustments on the job.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Joiner, with a solid portfolio of past work.
- NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Carpentry/Joinery is desirable.
- Full UK Driving License (or equivalent).
- Ability to work on-site, including travel to various locations as required.
- Flexibility to work overtime or weekends as project deadlines demand.
