Elevation Recruitment Group are working with an engineering company to recruit a Design Engineer to join their team in Doncaster.
You will be working to a high level of competency in the creation of 3D models and corresponding drawing package Bom and structured part numbers.
Duties of the Design Engineer will include:
- Create and review drawings and designs to ascertain compliance with customer specifications, and organizational guidelines to ensure the product is workable and manufacturable
- Lay out on CAD system new or modified products and parts in 2-D and 3-D models to meet customer specifications
- Create on CAD system detail part drawings in 3-D models required by customer specifications
- Review and investigate design alternatives and ensure all factors are considered to meet customer specifications, new products and revisions
- Compare data from engineering bill-of-material to customer specifications to verify conformance
