Salary: £60,000.00 - £80,000.00 per year + Commission

Our client a dynamic and forward-thinking company specializing in solar PV systems. They pride ourselves on our transparent, no hard-sell approach and are committed to sustainability and renewable energy. All our leads are inbound, and focus on educating potential customers about the benefits of solar energy.

Role Overview: As a Telesales Manager, you will lead and manage a team of Tele-Sales Executives who engage with potential customers over the phone. Your primary responsibilities include ensuring the team is well-informed about our products, providing competitive quotes, and maintaining high standards of customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Management: Ensure team members have the necessary product knowledge and resources to maximize sales.
  • Training & Development: Train, develop, and coach telesales advisors to achieve their full potential. Conduct regular performance evaluations and set targets for individual team members.
  • Performance Tracking: Set key performance indicators (KPIs) for the telesales team and track performance against targets. Implement effective monitoring and reporting systems.
  • Continuous Monitoring: Regularly monitor team performance and provide additional training as required.
  • Recruitment: Expand the team through continuous recruitment efforts.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of sales activities and achievements in our CRM system.
  • Technology Upgrades: Collaborate with the IT department to upgrade telesales technology infrastructure and contribute to the development of future growth strategies.
  • Reporting: Create monthly reports to present to the Directors.

  • Proven experience in telesales and telesales management.
  • Ability to lead from the front with operational experience and system knowledge.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Solid sales and negotiation skills.
  • Passion for renewable energy and sustainability.
  • Ability to develop and implement effective telesales strategies.
  • Track record of achieving and exceeding targets.
  • Good computer skills.
  • Knowledge of solar PV systems (preferred but not required).
