Accounts Semi-Senior
Our client in North West London is seeking a dedicated Accounts Semi-Senior to join their team. In this role, you will support their tax department by ensuring accurate and timely tax compliance for clients, and you will also be involved in accounts production. Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing and filing tax returns for individuals, partnerships, and corporations.
- Maintain accurate client records.
- Conduct initial reviews of financial documents and tax returns.
- Support the tax team with research on tax issues and regulations.
- Communicate with clients to gather necessary information and respond to enquiries.
- Assist in preparing tax planning strategies and reports.
- Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations.
- Provide administrative support to the tax department as needed.
- Engage in accounts production tasks as required.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Part-qualified or willing to study towards a professional tax qualification (e.g., ATT, CTA, ACA, ACCA).
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a UK accounting firm is essential.
- Familiarity with UK tax regulations and compliance.
- Experience with tax preparation software and accounting systems is an advantage.
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Basic bookkeeping and accounts preparation practical experience is desirable but not essential.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Proactive and flexible approach to work.
