Ashberry Recuitment is pleased to be working with one of our partners, recruiting for the role of Scheme Coordinator for an over 55s project.
You will work collaboratively in partnership with the Later Living team to ensure effective and efficient housing management services are provided to individual customers within presribed standards.
The successful candiate will :
- Coordinate the scheme and supervise scheme staff to deliver a high-quality service
- Work collaboratively with the Later Living Manager and Senior Later Living Officer to ensure any issues are dealt with in line with the organisations procedures in a timely manner
- Ensure the scheme meets the high level of health and safety compliance requirements.
Core responsibilities will include:
- completing and reviewing risk assessments
- assisting with customer queries
- liasing with contractors and other visitors to the scheme
- organise/facilitate scheme social activities and events
- To offer help and guidance to customers and to liaise with external agencies.• Record and action in regards to individual tenants and the scheme and discuss with the Senior Later Living Officer at monthly meetings.
You must:
be able to demonstrate the ability to identify the support needs of older people
have experience of dealing with customers/members of the public on a face to face basis
Have an awareness of tenancy and property management issues
You must have a caring approach, responding with kindness and compassion.
You must have an Enhanced DBS, although if you do not have one, we can apply on your behalf.
