The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data science development using Python and SQL, with experience developing solutions for record linkage and/or network analytics tasks. What you'll do:
As a Data Scientist, you will play a pivotal role in designing and developing solutions for record linkage/entity resolution and network analytics tasks. You will work closely with other data scientists, sharing your expertise to build and deploy production-level solutions. Your problem-solving skills will be put to the test as you troubleshoot and debug code, ensuring the smooth running of our services. In addition, you will cooperate with other teams, understanding their needs and solving business problems through your innovative solutions. Your role will also involve promoting an existing beta solution to a LIVE production service, extending the solution to include new datasets and signal outputs.
- Designing and developing solutions for record linkage/entity resolution and network analytics tasks
- Working collaboratively with other data scientists to build and deploy production-level solutions
- Troubleshooting and debugging code to ensure optimal performance
- Cooperating with other teams to understand and solve complex business problems
- Promoting an existing beta solution to a LIVE production service
- Extending the solution to include new datasets and signal outputs
What you bring:
The ideal Data Scientist candidate brings a wealth of experience in data science development using Python and SQL, with a minimum of 5+ years in the field. You have a strong academic background, with a Bachelor's degree that has a significant quantitative component. Your experience extends to developing solutions for record linkage and/or network analytics tasks, and you possess strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Your excellent communication and teamwork skills make you an asset in any team. Desirable skills include an advanced quantitative degree, experience with graph query languages and platforms, experience implementing solutions in Scala and/or JavaScript, agile delivery experience, and DevSecOps skills.

- Experience developing solutions for record linkage and/or network analytics tasks
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Desirable: Advanced quantitative degree
- Desirable: Experience with graph query languages (e.g., Gremlin, Cypher), graph database platforms (e.g., Neptune, Neo4j, ArangoDB), and/or graph visualisation platforms
- Desirable: Experience implementing solutions in Scala and/or JavaScript
- Desirable: Experience in agile (Scrum / Kanban) delivery
- Desirable: DevSecOps experience and skills
