My client is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team and work in our modern growing firm, based in our Bury St Edmunds office. The successful applicant will be part qualified / qualified with at least three years' experience in either practice and or industry and have the ability to work well in a team and possess good communication skills.
The successful candidate will be involved and often lead the accounts work and client relations, having direct contact with our clients and opportunities to interact and understand the clients they work with.

Position Overview
- Preparation of accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
- Involvement in and support to clients in varied forms of business advisory
- Drafting personal and company tax returns, and related supporting documentation, tax planning and long-term wealth planning
- Management accounts and VAT returns
- Dealing with queries from clients
- Assisting and developing junior staff
The role will develop you to have a strong and practical understanding of all issues relevant to generally family owned or owner managed businesses covering a wide range of sectors across East Anglia.
