Elevation Recruitment are looking for skilled Mechanical Maintenance Engineer for one of our key clients in the Pontefract area, who are looking for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join their newest site with immediate effect.
Salary: £43,043
Location: Pontefract
Hours: 4 on 4 off days and nights

Duties of a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer:
- Being proactive within the job focussing on reactive and preventative maintenance on a daily basis
- Working within a manufacturing environment
- Working on machinery such as robots, bailers, shredders, conveyors
- Constantly working to improvement plans to make the business the best it can be
- Working within a recycling environment
Desired experience:
- You must have at least Level 3 or above in Mechanical Engineering (City and Guilds or NVQ based)
- Must have manufacturing experience.
- Ideally have experience of working as a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer
- Must have experience with reactive maintenance and PPM's on a daily basis
- Ideally have experience with similar machinery mentioned above
- Must be happy working shifts
- Great communication skills (reading and spoken English is Essential)
