Finance Business Partner role for a New-Build Housing Developer.

The organisation is a prominent new-build housing developer, recognised for spearheading innovative development and other regeneration projects. As they continue to expand, the business is seeking a dynamic Finance Business Partner to take a leading role within the business and support their growth.

The Opportunity

You will work closely with the senior leadership team, partnering with key heads of departments such as Land, Commercial, Sales, Design, and Construction to drive business performance and provide insightful financial analysis.

As a qualified accountant, you will be the crucial link between this division's operations and the wider business, helping to shape strategic decisions through in-depth financial analysis, forecasting, and performance management. You will oversee cost management, monitor cash flow, provide support in budget development, and help identify trends to address potential financial risks.

Key Responsibilities

Partner with senior management to influence decision-making through expert financial insight

Analyse, interpret, and present financial data to support strategic business planning

Lead on cost management, forecasting, and budgeting

Monitor cash flow, ensuring financial stability across projects

Support year-end financial processes and reporting

Highlight trends and areas of concern to ensure effective cost control and resource allocation.

What You'll Bring

Professional accountancy qualification (CIMA, ACCA, CIPFA, ACA)

Proven experience in financial management within the construction industry

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and guide senior management

Comprehensive understanding of year-end processes and financial reporting

A proactive, problem-solving mindset and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

The ability to write reports for boards level.

Remuneration

Salary: £54,000 - £58,000 per annum

Flexible working arrangements: Must be office-based 4 days per week

Holidays: 26 days annual leave plus bank holidays

Pension: 8% company contribution
