Financial Reporting Manager

A fast-paced, PE-owned, technology-driven business is recruiting a Financial Reporting Manager to work closely with the Head of Reporting, taking ownership of external financial reporting and the internal controls environment.

The key responsibilities for the Financial Reporting Manager include:

  • Producing and reviewing financial statements.
  • Acting as the primary point of contact for external and internal auditors, managing the audit process and resolving audit queries.
  • Overseeing the implementation and maintenance of internal controls and SOX controls.
  • Production of technical papers.
  • Working with the finance team to ensure correct accounting treatments.
  • Ad hoc project work and analysis as well as supporting and covering for the Head of Reporting.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Demonstrate experience in a Financial Reporting or Audit Manager role.
  • Possess strong technical reporting knowledge (IFRS).
  • Ideally have experience of implementing internal controls and SOX.
  • Be a qualified ACA / ACCA accountant with a number of years pqe in industry or practice.
