Customer Service - Account Opening Centre Consultant

Location: Glasgow

Contract Type: Temporary

Start Date: 29th October

Working Pattern: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 09:00-17:00

Hybrid Working: 2 days per week in the office (First 6 weeks is 100% office based for training)

Pay Rate: £13.49 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

Engage with customers, demonstrating empathy and a strong desire to assist them.

Handle standard administrative data processing tasks to support and enhance external client relationships.

Receive and screen customers, callers, and other forms of communication, answering routine questions, providing information, or directing requests appropriately.

Represent customers by contacting internal and external sources to convey requests, provide instructions, or obtain information.

Requirements:

  • Strong customer focus, with the ability to handle customer queries professionally and with care and due diligence
  • Good attention to detail, with the ability to identify areas for improvement in the customer journey
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Understanding of Microsoft suite (Word, Excel, Outlook etc)
