We are seeking a Civil Litigation Lawyer to manage a diverse caseload, including public sector housing litigation. This role is ideal for a self-motivated individual who can work with minimal supervision and possesses strong advocacy and drafting skills. Experience in managing housing disrepair caseloads is an advantage.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Handle a mixed caseload of civil litigation matters with a focus on public sector housing litigation.
  • Work independently, managing your time and caseload effectively.
  • Prepare legal documents with precision and attention to detail.
  • Represent clients in court confidently and competently as required.
  • Communicate with clients, providing clear advice and updates on their cases.
  • Collaborate with other legal professionals to ensure the best outcomes for clients.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Qualified lawyer with the right to practice in the UK.
  • Proven experience in civil litigation, particularly within the public sector housing domain.
  • Strong advocacy and drafting skills.
  • Ability to manage a housing disrepair caseload is highly desirable.
  • Capable of working autonomously with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
