Day-to-day of the role:
- Handle a mixed caseload of civil litigation matters with a focus on public sector housing litigation.
- Work independently, managing your time and caseload effectively.
- Prepare legal documents with precision and attention to detail.
- Represent clients in court confidently and competently as required.
- Communicate with clients, providing clear advice and updates on their cases.
- Collaborate with other legal professionals to ensure the best outcomes for clients.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Qualified lawyer with the right to practice in the UK.
- Proven experience in civil litigation, particularly within the public sector housing domain.
- Strong advocacy and drafting skills.
- Ability to manage a housing disrepair caseload is highly desirable.
- Capable of working autonomously with minimal supervision.
