The Opportunity:
We are delighted to be recruiting for a Data Business Partner to join us at our Bristol Head Office. This is a full-time 6 month Fixed Term Contract (FTC) role that offers the benefits of a flexible hybrid working. Typically, this would require 1 day in our Bristol office per week with a choice of working from home on the other days (following an initial induction period).
Triodos Bank UK (TBUK) is in the process of delivering a transformation programme to ensure that the bank is in control in an efficient, adaptive, and cost-effective way, the Springboard Programme. As part of this broader initiative, the Data and Reporting workstream aims to implement and embed a comprehensive suite of Management Information (MI) and reporting tools. This will enhance existing MI capabilities while reducing the reliance on Excel-based spreadsheets for reporting.
As the Data Business Partner, your overall key deliverables for the role are to: establish requirement definitions for automated KRI reporting through Qilksense in collaboration with the TBUK Risk and Data Teams, and the Group D&A Team; facilitate ongoing data development for defined reporting measure by acting as Business Partner for TBUK when working with the Group D&A team and provide tactical Excel fixes for specific efficiency-related data challenges where there is a time delay in a Group solution being available, or where a software solution is not practical.
This is a 6-month FTC position to support the delivery of this key initiative for TBUK.
Key responsibilities will require you to:
- Establish requirements definitions for automated KRI reporting through Qliksense in collaboration with the TBUK Risk and Data Teams and the Group Data & Analytics (D&A) Team.
- Facilitate ongoing data development for defined reporting measures by acting as Business Partner for TBUK when working with the Group D&A team.
- Provide 'tactical' Excel fixes for specific efficiency-related data challenges where there is a time delay in a Group solution being available, or where a software solution is not practical.
What we are looking for:
To be successful in this role, you will have strong experience in performing quantitative analysis in a banking environment and the ability to translate business requirements into technical requirements suitable for developers.
You will have strong stakeholder management skills, be personable, and adept at working with multiple stakeholders to baseline and refine requirements. Additionally, you will bring extensive experience delivering MI in a data-rich environments, along with a high degree of expertise in Excel. Knowledge of VB and/or macros is advantageous.
We are looking for a self-starter who can build momentum around delivery with limited day-to-day management and has experience of working independently. A high-level understanding of QilkSense or similar tools (e.g., PowerBI), is essential.
What we offer
In return for your hard work and expertise, you will receive a Full Time Equivalent salary of between £34,900 - £40,000 depending on experience, plus access to our extensive benefits package, where most of our benefits are non-contributory.
