Your new company
You will be joining a large trades team working out of a yard in Dalkeith, who, due to a new contract being awarded, are looking to increase their staffing. They are one of the largest employers in the Edinburgh area and are able to offer a long-term contract to the right individual.
Your new role
You will be undertaking a variety of building roles alongside another member of staff, predominantly working on the external fabric of domestic properties. This will involve working on roof repairs, installing or repairing gutters, installing insulation as well as other general building repairs as directed by the client/contract manager.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need to be able to demonstrate experience in a similar building role, ideally with some experience of roofing repairs. As this position does not require a complete strip & re-slate, you do not need to be a time-served Roofer to be considered for this job, but this would be advantageous. You must have a valid UK Driving licence to be considered for this position as access to a van will be provided during the working day.
What you'll get in return
You will be offered a long-term contract and paid weekly PAYE via Hays with the option for accrued annual leave. You will receive regular updates from your Hays consultant.
