Reed Accountancy currently have a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established West Berkshire based business as an Accounts Assistant. This is a 3-month temporary opportunity.
Working full time within a team of three, you will be taking full ownership of the daily accounting duties for the business and supporting the Management Accountant when needed.
Duties for this role include,
- Daily banking
- Purchase ledger invoicing, payment runs, supplier statements and reconciliations
- Sales ledger invoicing, reconciliations
- Input & check Staff Expenses
- Credit Control via phone and email
- VAT
- Month end reconciliations
The ideal candidate would have experience of working on SAGE 50 and ideally be confident with Excel including VLOOKUPS and Pivot Tables.
The role is working 9am-5.30pm Monday to Friday and is office based. The business offers free parking onsite but due to the location of the business you will need to be a driver as the office is not close to public transport links
