Job Title: Program Manager, Global Industry Events
Location:Fully remote, UK
Start date: Mid-October
Duration: to 31st May 2025
Rate/salary: up to £350 per day
Hours/days per week: Full time, 5 days per week
Are you an experienced event professional ready to manage large-scale industry events on a global stage? We are looking for a Program Manager, Global Industry Event Operations to lead the end-to-end planning and execution of high-profile Tier 1 industry and global business unit events.
What You'll Do:
- Manage all event logistics, including sponsorships, contract negotiations, booth design, budget management, and vendor coordination.
- Lead cross-functional project management to deliver exceptional customer event experiences.
- Build strong relationships with global teams and stakeholders to support event-related marketing activities.
- Ensure events are delivered on time and within budget, handling all required documentation and system updates.
- Embrace innovative practices to drive meaningful customer engagement at industry-leading events.
Key Skills & Experience:
- 5-7 years of event management experience, preferably in the IT industry.
- Proven success in project leadership, managing events end-to-end in a virtual team environment.
- Strong strategic thinking paired with an eye for detail and a focus on results.
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, working confidently with stakeholders at all levels.
- High proficiency in Zoom, Excel, Word, and the ability to quickly adapt to new systems.
- Fluent in English, with additional proficiency in French, German, or Spanish being a plus.
