OFFICE ASSISTANT

An industry leading construction and engineering company is looking for an Office Assistant to join the team on a permanent basis.

OFFICE ASSISTANT ROLE:

  • Supporting the Catering and Facilities Coordinator with preparing and dismantling meeting rooms, including arranging catering services and configuring room layouts
  • Performing daily set-up, restocking, and cleaning of office tea stations and coffee machines
  • Handling the receipt and unpacking of all catering and mail deliveries
  • Conducting inventory checks and restocking catering supplies and stationery
  • Maintaining cleanliness in all kitchen and tea point areas, ensuring they are always tidy and presentable
  • Handling facilities and catering-related requests from the helpdesk, ensuring all queries are resolved within the agreed service level agreements (SLAs)
  • Updating online Health & Safety checklists, reviewing and updating the ladder register monthly, and replenishing first aid kits
  • Conducting Health & Safety inspections, ensuring emergency evacuation routes are clear and fire doors are functioning properly
  • Performing monthly checks on emergency lights and conducting weekly water flushing

OFFICE ASSISTANT ESSENTIALS:

  • Minimum 1 year of customer service experience
  • Must be willing to work 5 days in office
  • Positive mindset with an excellent focus on customer service
  • Professional, confident, and collaborative
  • Exceptional time management and organisational skills
