Description
- Performing daily reconciliations of cash, bank and other financial accounts.
- Identifying, investigating, and resolving discrepancies in financial entries, documents, and reports.
- Assisting with month-end closing processes and financial statement preparation.
- Maintaining records of financial transactions by establishing accounts and posting transactions.
- Collaborating with the Accounting & Finance team to improve financial procedures.
- Assisting with internal and external audits as required.
- Ensuring compliance with organisational financial policies and procedures.
- Contributing to the achievement of the department's objectives through active participation in team meetings and projects.
Profile
A successful Year End/Reconciliations Accountant should have:
- A Qualification in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
- Proficient skills in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- The ability to work to tight deadlines and handle pressure.
