Join our dynamic team in Bolton as a Sales Lead Qualifier and play a crucial role in shaping our sales pipeline.

This position is perfect for someone with experience in sales or business services, especially in the postal, package, or direct marketing industries.

As a Lead Qualifier at Whistl, you'll be responsible for generating qualified leads, maintaining a clean and accurate customer database, and supporting the Telesales Manager with administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively search and qualify leads using the available databases and inbound inquiries via the website and phone and route them to the appropriate telesales/sales agent
  • Meet daily targets by generating the minimum number of qualified leads for the sales team, as set by the Line Manager.
  • Maintain and update the CRM with relevant lead data, ensuring the database is current and accurate.
  • Collaborate with the Telesales and Sales teams to ensure appointment records are accurate and updated promptly.
  • Follow up on direct marketing activities and existing database records to maximise the number of pre-qualified leads.
  • Partner with stakeholders to identify priority areas for the Telesales team and track the effectiveness of focused efforts.

Working Hours

The working hours for this Lead Qualifier role are Monday to Friday, 9am to 5:30pm. Hybrid working opportunities are available following the initial probationary period.

Essential Skills

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal and an excellent phone manner
  • Good maths skills
  • Excellent data entry skills and a methodical approach to record-keeping
  • Experience and proficiency in Microsoft standard packages, most notably Excel
  • Working knowledge of CRM systems
  • Embraces and thrives in a fast-paced and results-based environment with the ability to work with minimal supervision after agreeing objectives
  • Self-starter with excellent prioritisation and time management skills.
  • Confident in establishing and maintaining relationships with colleagues at all levels, able to build relationships with clients and acquire key information quickly and accurately from prospective customers

Desirable Skills

Previous experience as a Lead Qualifier or in a similar role in a sales environment.
