If so, this could be the role for you! Flowers Associates are currently seeking an Account Manager to join a well-established production company based in Leicester, LE19. This role is to support the external sales team and manage/develop an existing portfolio of clients, ensuring critical paths for projects are followed through to completion with excellent organisation. The Role: Provide support to the external sales team in order to manage and develop an existing portfolio of clients while also looking to secure new clients.

The successful Account Manager will be responsible for the following duties: • Maintain and develop designated accounts providing a high standard of customer service while helping to secure new opportunities and business for the company.

  • Coordinate project management from initial enquiry stage to order placement, liaising with relevant suppliers and internal departments in regard to sourcing, product development, sampling, costings, order processing, planning and scheduling production.
  • Ensure that critical paths for all projects are followed through and all customer requirements are accurately processed.
  • Liaise with relevant departments to deliver products and services as agreed with the customer, resolving any associated customer queries proficiently and escalating any issues using relevant departmental procedures.
  • Develop relationships with customers and supplier at all levels.
  • Send quotes and order confirmations to customers ensuring that diary dates for follow up calls are actioned, and critical paths for all projects are followed through.
  • Ensure that all relevant information relating to enquiries, quotations and orders is attached to the company CRM system in the correct manner, ensuring the CRM system is kept up to date and cleansed.
  • Address any slow-moving stock or credit control issues in a timely manner.

The ideal candidate will be from a relatable background to the packaging industry (if not packaging) and able to effectively manage their own workload and take ownership of projects. Y

ou'll be spinning many plates in a 360 role from sourcing and supply, to liaising with design and production, to successful customer management and so you'll be a ninja multi tasker and system savvy including CRM's, Outlook and Excel.

It is essential for the candidate to have good communication/listening skills with the ability to fully understand information, asking any relevant questions to ensure the customer's requirement is fulfilled to the best of abilities.

Changes within the production industry are expected therefore, the candidate needs to be able to adapt to changes calmly and use resources effectively, ensuring timescales, deadlines, and objectives are met.

With this, the candidate will need to be flexible and willing with working hours, sometimes helping out in areas outside the role, supporting the wiser team goals and objectives. It is essential for the candidate to have strong administration and IT skills, ideally Microsoft excel skills to formula level.
