Job Title: Data Entry Clerk (Finance)
Hourly Rate: £8.30 - £11.44 per hour
Location: Hitchin
Contract: Temporary - Permanent
Hours: Monday to Friday, 39 hours

Our client in the manufacturing industry is seeking a temporary Data Entry Clerk with the potential for a permanent position to support their finance department. The role is open to candidates without prior office experience, making it an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or school leavers seeking their first office-based job.
SKILLS REQUIRED
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Strong communication skills
- Team player with a "can do" attitude
- Basic understanding of data entry
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Enter job-related data into databases and systems with precision.
- Keep job transaction records current and well-organised for easy access.
- Collaborate with other departments to verify that all required documentation is finalized before closing jobs in the system.
- Regularly check the accuracy of entered data, identifying and correcting any discrepancies or errors.
- Produce reports as requested by management
- Coordinate with the team to address any issues related to job data and closure processes
