Lead, Coach, and Inspire as a Master Data Manager at Saint-Gobain Professional Services!
Are you a collaborative manager with a proven track record of empowering and developing high-performing teams? As a key leader within our Finance Shared Service Centre, you will drive cross-functional projects to streamline and standardize complex data processes across our diverse and growing portfolio of brands.
You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and completeness of our master data, while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation to enable future scalability and enhancements to our data management processes.
You'll be responsible for the day-to-day management of a team of five, based locally in East Leake, and you will be the type of person that not only relishes the technical aspects of this type of role, but also the chance to coach and develop the team around you.
Your expertise will be crucial in our upcoming migration to S/4HANA, setting the stage for future success.
This is a hybrid role, based 2-3 days a week in our head office in East Leake.
What You'll Do:
- Lead, Develop and Inspire your team: Driving a culture of continuous improvement, adding value with expertise, innovation and collaboration.
- Champion Data Accuracy: Enhance data accuracy and consistency to elevate customer service delivery and operational efficiency
- Eliminate Bottlenecks: Identify and remove data bottlenecks that hinder customer service and business operations
- Drive Scalability: Implement data management practices that support the growth and scaling of our service
- Establish Governance: Create and enforce robust data governance policies and procedures
- Lead Quality Assurance: Monitor and ensure data quality, accuracy, and compliance with our organizational standards
- Innovate & Improve: Propose and implement enhancements to existing data management processes
- Adopt Cutting-Edge Tools: Lead initiatives to incorporate new tools and technologies that will elevate our data management capability
- Reduce Risk: Implement internal audit recommendations to reduce fraud risks and strengthen our data integrity
What You'll Bring:
- Leadership: Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience managing both local and offshore teams
- ERP Expertise: Proven experience with ERP systems like SAP, SAP S/4HANA, QAD, and Office Dynamics
- GDPR Knowledge: Awareness and familiarity with GDPR, including data anonymization practices**.**
- SOP Design: Ability to design Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for data cleansing and enrichment teams
- Data Management Proficiency: Extensive experience in data management or data governance roles
- Analytical Mindset: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to navigate complex data challenges
