Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Part-Qualified Management Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. The successful candidate will support the Senior Management Accountant in preparing financial reports, budgets, and forecasts, and will play a key role in the financial planning and analysis process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Support the budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Conduct variance analysis and provide insights on financial performance.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
- Support the month-end and year-end close processes.
- Assist with internal and external audits.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial information is accurate and up-to-date.
- Provide support to the Senior Management Accountant and Finance Manager as required.
Qualifications:
- Part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Desirable:
- Experience in a similar role within a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
- Experience with financial modelling and data analysis.
