SEND Learning Support Assistant
Location: Barking & Dagenham
Duration: Full time, part time, permanent
Hours: 9:15am - 3:30pm - 32.5 hours per week

Role Overview:
As an SEND Learning Support Assistant, you will be based with a child aged between 4 and 18, providing tailored support to meet their individual needs. Whether it's 1:1 or group support, your role will be pivotal in helping the child achieve their academic goals and develop essential life skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work alongside the tutor/mentor to support the delivery of lesson plans
- Provide positive behavior support and guidance
- Utilize your experience with ASD, PMLD, SLD to create a supportive environment
- Drive the child to various activities and appointments
- Build rapport through engaging activities and outings funded by a petty cash fund
- Encourage and motivate the child to reach their full potential academically and socially

Qualifications and Skills:
- Driving license
- Experience with ASD, PMLD or SLD
- Holds an NQV Level 2 or above (desirable)
- Positive attitude and dedication to supporting children with SEND
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
