Account Manager

As an Account Manager at Sagacity, you will be supporting a number of Account Directors on larger client accounts as well as being the 'go to' person for a nominated list of clients.

Day-to-day as an Account Manager you'll be tasked with the following duties:

  • Working with the Account Director

o attending regular meetings with clients to ensure that they are getting the best out of our products

o to develop key relationships and maximise revenue

o generating revenue through upsell/cross selling of products and services

o formulating plans to grow and manage key accounts

  • Communicating to the client base on future improvements to the products and the roadmap
  • Single point of contact for some clients at an operational level, with responsibility for the account retention and growth of accounts
  • Establishing and maintaining strong client relationships
  • Ensuring that agreed service and delivery targets are met consistently
  • Producing weekly, monthly and quarterly status reports/account plans for each client
  • Centralising licencing agreements and pricing
  • Working with the product management team to produce documentation for product releases and upgrades
  • Supporting the development and management of a number of hosted solutions

Previous experience as an Account Manager in the data for marketing industry, and data solution development is essential (min 2 years). Attitude and aptitude are key, and the following skills are needed:

  • Must be highly numerate and commercially aware
  • Clear communication both verbal and written
  • Confident presentation skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in work at all times
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work on own initiative
  • Ability to cope with conflicting demands and prioritise tasks
  • Methodical with excellent organisational skills
  • Experience of FastStats or similar would also be highly beneficial
