We are recruiting for a Supply Chain Planner to join a small and friendly team in this fast moving FMCG manufacturing business, enjoying swift growth. As a Supply Chain Planner you will work closely with the Supply Chain Manager in the day-to-day running of the manufacturing supply chain, responsible for production planning and managing stock levels to achieve efficiencies.
Responsibilities
- Planning of production for the factory
- Managing finished goods stock holding at target levels
- Managing finished goods on site to supply our distribution
- Ordering raw material and managing forecasts with suppliers
- Tracking movement of stock through the business and investigate any discrepancies
- Supporting supply chain team in ad-hoc tasks such as stock counts, and goods in,etc
- Developing a collaborative relationship with key internal contacts in production, finance, and distribution
- Opportunity to play a part in developing new processes
Profile
- Advanced Excel skills (competent in functions such as VLOOKUP, SUMPRODUCT, PIVOT TABLES, etc.)
- Previous planning experience in an FMCG manufacturing environment
- Continuous improvement mindset
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work autonomously and take responsibility
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Strong problem solving ability
- Strong communicator at all levels
