Working with the Head of Brand & Communications, you'll support our growing business by planning, implementing and monitoring a variety of marketing and content strategies.
You'll play a crucial role in creating compelling online content to promote our business and drive awareness, whilst also supporting the marketing team with wider marketing initiatives.
Role responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning and execution of marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, social media, email and print.
- Develop a content strategy that helps to build our online profile and drive engagement.
- Create compelling online content for the Energy Park website and social media platforms, including blogs, news updates and case studies, ensuring all content aligns with our brand voice.
- Assist in the planning and creation of other communication materials, including print, online and video.
- Conduct industry research to identify new trends and content ideas relevant to our target audiences.
- Collaborate with internal teams to coordinate marketing efforts and ensure consistency in messaging.
- Prepare regular reports and presentations on key metrics, including website traffic, social media engagement, and campaign effectiveness.
- Provide event support and assist in organising and promoting company events, conferences and trade shows.
- Provide general administrative support to the marketing team, including scheduling meetings, preparing presentations, reports and documents, and maintaining marketing calendars.
- Collaborate with external providers and stakeholders as needed.
Experience/qualifications required:
- Educated to degree level, able to demonstrate an excellent standard of both verbal and written communication and creative copy write skills.
- At least two years' experience in a similar position where copywriting and content creation was integral to your role.
- Skilled in creating diverse content, including blogs, newsletters, emails and social media updates, that engages audiences and aligns with our brand voice.
- Be able to share examples of previous written content, e.g. blogs, news articles, social media posts.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an unwavering attention to detail in all aspects of your written work.
- A good eye for graphic design, with experience in creating visual online assets, e.g. social media templates, as well as eye-catching marketing documents.
- A proactive, creative thinker who's confident in identifying new opportunities and sharing with others.
- Confident in using all leading social media platforms, particularly LinkedIn.
- Knowledge of graphic design software, ideally Canva.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams as needed.
- Flexible and willing to get stuck in and help wherever help is needed.
