Are you a methodical and process driven accounts professional looking to join a dynamic and innovative team? Our client, a well-established business, is seeking a talented individual like you to provide credit control support to the accounts team, on a temporary on-going basis.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Taking a proactive role in managing and collecting debts of company debtors
- Evaluating new credit requests and reviewing customers' credit rankings with banks
- Setting up of terms and conditions of credit
- Ensuring timely payment of debts
- Following up payments as needed
- Negotiating re-payment plans
- Responding to relevant client enquiries
- Processing and reconciliation of invoices
- Checking and posting of receipts to accounting systems
Skills:
- Finance knowledge and understanding
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Organisational and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience with accounting software would be desirable however not essential
- Previous experience in credit control or a related field is preferred
