Salary: £25k - £30k DOE
Location: Headingley, LeedsHours of work**: Monday-Friday, 09:00 - 17:00, 35 hours per week**

Our client is looking for an organised and diligent Accounts Administrator to join our small team. You'll assist in the day-to-day accounting and administration of our commercial and residential property portfolio, while also covering various ad-hoc tasks to support the office team during annual leave.

They are a privately owned property investment and development company managing substantial assets throughout the Yorkshire region. Our diverse portfolio includes office, industrial, retail, and residential properties.

The Key Duties of the Accounts Administrator

  • Processing sub-contractor timesheets and weekly payroll.
  • Maintaining CIS Excel spreadsheet and running various reports.
  • Processing residential monthly rent runs.
  • Maintaining various residential lease detail databases and Excel spreadsheets.
  • Maintaining annual and quarterly rent schedules for lenders.
  • Processing residential rent statements received from third-party letting agents.
  • Service charge accounting, including setting up and maintaining various spreadsheets and filing supplier invoices.
  • Pay and Display cash reconciliation.
  • Providing accounting and admin support as required to the Office Manager.

The Key Requirements of the Account Administrator

  • Previous property administration experience is desirable.
  • Previous experience with purchase and sales ledger.
  • Experience using accounting software packages, preferably Sage 50.
  • Experience with Construction Industry Scheme accounting is desirable but not essential.
  • IT literate with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word & Excel, and familiarity with formulae, hyperlinks, etc.
  • Good numeracy skills and attention to detail.
  • Resilient and adaptable with good organisational and time management skills.
