The Mortgage and Protection Advisor role
As the Mortgage & Protection advisor for the brokerage, you will be based out of the office in Crawley offering face to face mortgage and protection advice.
You will be provided with an abundance of leads from the mortgage brokerages wide network of introducers and partners. It will be your responsibility to arrange a face-to-face mortgage consultation to guide clients throughout the mortgage & protection process, helping them secure suitable mortgage & protection products that are tailored to their needs and financial circumstances.
Having a board knowledge of first charge mortgage cases and confidence in providing face to face mortgage consultations is essential to be successful in this role.
Mortgage and Protection Advisor k ey responsibilities
- Provide expert Mortgage and Protection advice and guidance to clients
- Work a minimum of 1 in 4 Saturdays to meet with clients
- Helping clients secure the most suitable mortgage and protection products
- Tailored Mortgage and Protection products to match financial circumstances.
- Assess clients' financial information, creditworthiness, and eligibility
- Analyse and compare mortgage & protection products from various lenders & providers
- Keep up to date with new mortgage and protection products and changes in regulation
- Follow industry rules and guidelines and ensure you give impartial and appropriate financial advice
- Maintain clear communication and updated information
Mortgage and Protection Advisor desired skills and experience
- CeMap Qualified or Equivalent
- Experienced Mortgage & Protection Advisor
- Experience providing face to face Mortgage & Protection advice
- Self-motivated and proactive
- Ability to work at least 1 in 4 Saturday's
- Provide exceptional customer service
- Whole of Market Mortgage & Protection experience
Mortgage and Protection Advisor package
- £30,000 basic salary
- £3k validation
- £3k - £6k Commission 15%
- £6k+ Commission 30%
- Administrative & Compliance support
- Office Based in Crawley
