CFO, UK Software & Tech Services, based Surrey - £150,000 - £170,000 + bens, bonus + LTIP

Partnering the Group CEO, you will play a major part in the strategic landscape setting and execution of all M&A activity in this buy/build scenario. The perfect SME CFO role basically.

Key Deliverables:
- Finance Director / CFO board-level position, working for a c£25m t/o softwaresales & services business
- Manage all financial control and reporting activity with the support of an existing Financial Controller and finance team
- Reporting directly to the CEO, theCFO will be responsible for day-to-day management of group finance matters and all strategic activities relating to the business
- Key Business Partner to the Board in a continuing growth scenario with likely M&A activity in the medium term
- Develop and implement necessary policies, controls and procedures to ensure the sound financial management and control of the group
- To take close control of cashflow & forecasting activity and drive commercial activity across the group
- Manage several UK subsidiary businesses as well the complexities that come with a business who have an international presence
- Ensure robust and efficient systems and processes for financial reporting and transactional finance activities
Skills & Qualifications:
- Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
- Proven experience as either a Finance Director or CFO
- AIM or UK Plc experience desirable
- Experience in B2B software resale and/or software services is ideal
- You must have some commercial experience of Corporate Finance, DD or 'carve-out'
- Technical exposure to UK GAAP and UK Taxation
- Experience of multi-divisional businesses
- A careful leader who enjoys managing and developing a team is a must
