Role Overview:
As the Accounts Assistant, you will be motivated and detail oriented, and comfortable managing a portfolio of clients. This role offers the opportunity to work with a variety of clients, gain exposure to different industries, and develop your career in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
In this role, as the Accounts Assistant, you will be expected to:
- Carry out VAT Returns, some bookkeeping, and general accounts duties etc.
- Prepare financial statements and reports for a range of clients.
- Manage client accounts and provide comprehensive accounting services.
- Review and oversee the work of junior accounting staff.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships.
- Provide advisory services and support to clients on financial matters.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards and regulations.
Requirements:
As the Accounts Assistant, you will have you will have a strong background in accounting and at least 1 years' previous experience with practice accountancy. You will additionally possess relevant qualifications (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent / AAT) to support your hands on experience, or will be currently studying the afore mentioned.
In addition to the above, you will have:
- Strong technical knowledge of accounting and tax principles, as well as VAT returns and bookkeeping.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
