This is an opportunity for a diligent Payroll Specialist to join a vibrant and fast pace team based in North Manchester. You will be managing payroll operations and ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all transactions.

This role is a 6 month FTC initially.

Description

  • Prepare, compile, and sort documents for data entry into the payroll system
  • Ensure accurate processing and recording of the company's payroll
  • Provide timely and accurate financial information
  • Process forms and applications for the Accounting & Finance department
  • Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies
  • Maintain payroll operations by following policies and procedures
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
  • Ensure compliance with current payroll tax requirements

Profile

A successful Payroll Specialist should have:

  • A strong understanding of payroll systems and procedures
  • Excellent numeracy skills and attention to detail
  • Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks
  • A proactive approach to work, with a problem-solving attitude
