Junior Program Manager

Our client is looking for a recent graduate to join their Graduate Programme as a Junior Program Manager. You will be a committed, driven and detail oriented team player, who can drive and deliver product development projects on time and to expectation.

With hybrid working arrangements, the role of Junior Program Manager would be suitable for a recent graduate who is looking to develop their career in a commercially focused, program management role.

This role sits within the EMEIA (Europe, Middle East, India and Africa) Graduate Programme and will also offer a 3 month international secondment to another market region, within the business.

The Role:

As the Junior Program Manager, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • co-ordinating new and ongoing product development of the assigned product category
  • supporting projects, ensuring process is followed and approval is gained at each stage
  • working with marketing on packaging, instructions, product branding and launch materials
  • ensuring that the programs progress smoothly, on-time and with a managed scope
  • sharing experience and advice among the program management office peers
  • representing the brand internally and externally to partners and stakeholders

The Candidate:

Ideally of graduate standard, preferably from within a mechanical, technical or engineering based discipline, for the role of Junior Program Manager candidates will also be able to demonstrate that they:

  • have some previous work experience, ideally from within a commercial or program management focused environment
  • have excellent IT skills with a good understanding of general PC packages, in particular Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • have excellent attention to detail
  • have the ability to clearly prioritise workloads and tasks and be used to multi-tasking
  • have excellent communication skills and can be flexible, creative and thrive in a challenging environment
  • are an organised and pro-active individual, who demonstrates a positive and professional attitude
  • are able to work as part of a team or under their own initiative to meet required targets and deadlines
  • have sound project management skills

European language skills would be a benefit but are not essential.

Applicants for this role should hold a full current UK driving licence and also note that there will be some travel within the EMEIA region with this role.
