We're on the lookout for a passionate teaching assistant to join a dynamic specialist school in the WF4 area, committed to nurturing every student's potential. If you aspire to work with children who require special educational needs and have UK-based experience, this role could be tailor-made for you.It is a full time job where you have to work Monday through Friday between 08:30 am-03:30 pm.

Requirements:

  • Hands-on experience aiding children with special educational needs and disabilities within the UK.
  • Proficiency with the UK curriculum is essential.
  • Possession of an Enhanced Child DBS.
  • Ideally, a background in education or relevant qualifications.
  • A deep understanding of supporting children with additional needs and the patience to navigate a SEN environment effectively.
  • Recognition of the uniqueness of each child, necessitating personalized support and learning strategies.
  • Availability for full-time work is a must.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in crafting, customizing, and delivering captivating learning activities for students.
  • Address the individual needs of each child, offering tailored support.
  • Provide both academic and emotional guidance, be it through one-on-one sessions or in small groups.
  • Work closely with teachers, parents, and colleagues to foster an inclusive educational setting.
  • Foster a positive classroom ambiance that encourages growth and development.
