Senior Security Analyst
Newcastle upon Tyne
3 Month contract – Hybrid (2/3 days per week onsite)
£300 - £400 per day (Umbrella) INSIDE IR35
My client is looking to bring onboard an experienced Security Analyst, to support them during a busy period, within their IT security function.
This role is based in Newcastle and will require onsite work 2/3 days per week, with the rest WFH.
Key Skills
- Proficiency in threat detection and response, with experience using SIEM, EDR, and Vulnerability Management tools.
- Experience With Microsoft Defender, Endpoint and Azure Sentinel specifically
- Experience in securing cloud services and enterprise applications, with a focus on IAM.
- Experience with network tools and concepts such as SD Wan and Palo Alto
- In-depth knowledge of network and system security, including the operation of firewalls and IDS/IPS.
- Understanding of compliance standards, including ISO27001, NIST, and GDPR.
- Experience in supporting audit processes and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
