I am seeking a Level 4 Teaching Assistant with recent experience in UK primary schools. This role offers both long-term and day-to-day supply work in the Doncaster area, with the potential for a temporary to permanent position as we gear towards September. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated Teaching Assistant looking to make a positive impact on students' learning experiences and further their career.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Support the classroom teacher in planning, preparation, and delivery of lessons.
- Lead pre-planned lessons to cover PPA or short-term absences.
- Work closely with individual students or small groups to reinforce learning material.
- Assist in creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
- Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to teachers.
- Help manage classroom behaviour and ensure a positive learning atmosphere.
- Prepare teaching materials and resources as required.
- Adapt to different educational settings and quickly integrate with new teams.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Level 4 Teaching Assistant qualification.
- Recent experience working in primary schools.
- Strong understanding of the UK primary curriculum.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to engage and inspire young learners.
- Flexibility to work on both long-term and day-to-day assignments.
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
