Hays are currently seeking a committed and experienced English teacher for a long-term position at one of our partner schools in Gloucestershire. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the academic growth of our students and to be part of our dedicated team. The role is to begin in September & is due to run for the duration of the academic year. The school are ideally looking for an applicant looking for a full-time role but are happy to hear from quality applicants looking for a part-time position.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare and deliver engaging English lessons to secondary school students.
- Develop and implement teaching strategies that cater to different learning styles.
- Evaluate student performance, provide constructive feedback, and guide their academic growth.
- Foster a positive, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment.
- Participate actively in staff meetings, professional development programs, and parent-teacher conferences.
Qualifications
- Must hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Proven experience of teaching English at the secondary level.
- Excellent command of the English language and strong communication skills.
- The ability to manage classrooms effectively and motivate students.
- Commitment to long-term teaching and passion for education.
